We bring our wood-fired sauna to coastal locations across the Lower Eyre Peninsula, where we run regular open days for you to book in and sauna with us. Choose where we’re set up, pick a session time and book a seat or, hire the whole sauna privately for your group.

Experience the ritual of traditional wood-fired sauna, right here on the Eyre Peninsula. Step inside, slow down and warm up by the fire, with the coast just outside the door.

Inspired by Nordic sauna culture and the natural beauty of our region, our sessions bring together deep heat, fresh sea air and the option to cool off in the ocean between rounds.

Whether you come alone, with a mate or bring the whole crew, Salted Barrel is a simple way to step away from the noise and experience the contrast of heat, cold and rest.

Our Locations

Located at the Coffin Bay Boat Ramp. Enjoy a communal or Private session from sunrise to early evening.

Join us from 7 to 12pm and enjoy a post sauna coffee and treat from Bayside Grind Coffee van.

A little milestone we’re pretty proud of. Salted Barrel is now an approved member of the Australian Sauna Association. For us, it’s about more than having a new logo to stick on Betty. It’s about being part of a growing Australian sauna community that’s sharing knowledge, raising standards and helping shape what a good sauna looks like in Australia. We’ve committed to the ASA Operators’ Charter, and we’re looking forward to continuing to learn, connect and bring more knowledge back to our little sauna on the Eyre Peninsula. First stop… Europe and Istanbul this October.
