Before You Arrive

1

We recommend arriving approximately 5 minutes before your session start time, particularly if this is your first visit.

Please note that your session begins at the booked start time, not your arrival time. For example, if your session begins at 10:00am and you arrive at 10:15am, your session will still conclude at the scheduled finish time.

We encourage guests to arrive already wearing suitable sauna clothing, as change facilities are limited. Nearby public amenities may be available depending on location.

Guests must be aged 16 years or over to participate.

What To Bring

2

We recommend bringing:

  • Swimwear or suitable sauna clothing

  • A towel for drying off

  • A water bottle

  • Comfortable warm clothing for afterwards

  • Sandals or easy slip-on footwear

A towel for sitting on inside the sauna will be provided.

Filtered rainwater is available onsite for water bottle refills throughout your session.

Please note that only plastic or wooden drink bottles may be taken into the sauna. Metal containers can become extremely hot, and glass is not permitted.

When You Arrive

3

Once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed onsite and guided through a short safety briefing and introduction to sauna use.

You’ll then receive:

  • Your sauna towel

  • An hourglass timer to help track sauna rounds

  • Guidance on how to safely enjoy the session

Before entering the sauna, we ask that:

  • Shoes are removed

  • Feet are rinsed in the footbath provided

  • Electronic devices are put away

  • Oils, fragrances, and perfumes are removed where possible

During Your Session

4

Your session includes access to the wood-fired sauna and surrounding relaxation area.

Most guests move between periods of heat, cooling down outdoors, resting, hydrating, and repeating the process at their own pace.

There is no expectation to stay inside the sauna for a certain amount of time. If you are new to sauna, we generally recommend beginning with shorter rounds of approximately 10 minutes before cooling down and resting.

If at any time you feel lightheaded, uncomfortable, or unsure, please exit the sauna and speak with us. Staff are present throughout all sessions.

Löyly & Sauna Experience

Guests are welcome to create löyly by adding small amounts of water to the sauna stones to increase humidity and intensify the heat.

Before doing so, we ask that you check with other guests inside the sauna first, as some people may prefer a drier sauna experience.

Please add water slowly and carefully as instructed during your briefing.

Cooling Down & Ocean Swimming

Between sauna rounds, many guests may choose to sit outdoors & cool off naturally in the coastal air, or, where conditions and location allow, enjoy a swim.

Ocean swimming and cold-water immersion are entirely optional and are not a supervised part of the service. Guests entering the water do so at their own discretion and risk.

If you plan to swim, we recommend bringing an additional beach towel for drying off afterwards.

Sauna Etiquette

To help maintain a calm and comfortable environment for everyone, we ask guests to:

  • Sit on the provided towel inside the sauna

  • Keep voices respectful and relaxed

  • Stay hydrated throughout the session

  • Avoid glass items onsite

  • Enter and exit carefully around wet areas

  • Respect the comfort of other guests during communal sessions

After Your Session

At the conclusion of your session, staff will notify guests when sauna time has finished.

You are welcome to take your time packing up, cooling down, and relaxing afterwards, however the sauna itself will then close for cleaning and preparation for the next session.

We recommend continuing to hydrate well after your session and allowing yourself time to enjoy the slower pace that follows a sauna experience.
